Intercessors for Uganda (IFU) is entering a new season with a bold vision: to establish God’s Kingdom through every sphere of society while building a ministry that is spiritually vibrant, financially sustainable, and capable of transforming the nation for generations to come. On June 1st 2026, when the Seven Mountain Mandate 2.0 was launched, IFU seeks to mobilise believers to influence Business, Education, Faith, Family, Government, Media, and Arts as strategic partners in advancing God’s purposes. Prayer and Intercession remain the oil that powers the ministry spiritually. The Seven Mountains become the engine that mobilises believers into practical Kingdom engagement.
For many years, IFU has faithfully fulfilled its mission through prayer, intercession, and the generosity of partners. However, relying primarily on unpredictable donations presents a challenge to long-term sustainability. At the same time, many believers have viewed ministry as something confined to church, rather than recognising their workplaces, professions, and communities as platforms for Kingdom influence.
The Seven Mountain Strategy offers a practical response. Every mountain is being equipped to develop sustainable initiatives, strategic partnerships and business plans that both advance God’s Kingdom and contribute to IFU’s long-term sustainability. Prayer remains the foundation, but it is now being intentionally coupled with action, innovation, accountability, and stewardship. Together, these efforts aim to see believers actively transforming society while helping IFU achieve its target of becoming 70% financially self-sustaining by 2031. This target is ambitious, and that’s why every mountain has a role! You have a role!
As IFU embarks on this exciting journey, the prayer is that believers across Uganda will discover that their everyday work is not separate from ministry—it is ministry.
Together, prayer becomes the foundation, purposeful action becomes the strategy, and transformed communities become the fruit.
